Bicycle Tour Pilot

Summer 2016 marked our first free bicycle tour of Corvallis community gardens.

Here is James Cassidy, an Oregon State University Instructor, explaining how nutrients transfer at the interface between roots and soil.
Potato donuts were provided by Gathering Together Farm.
This watermelon was grown with zero irrigation! This work is being done at the Oak Creek Center for Urban Horticulture by using varieties of melons from the Middle East.
Here at the Starker Arts Garden for Education, tour participants get a first-hand view of sustainable agriculture.
