Bountiful Backyard’s mission is to foster a righteous stewardship of the land through community engagement, services, and charity.
We work with individuals and organizations in order to coordinate projects that nurture healthy soils and enable humane livestock treatment. In the interest of preserving a closeness among neighbors, while advancing appropriate technology and regenerative agriculture; we represent a grassroots conviction that we can better serve our families, earth, and maker.
The word “bounty” comes from the Old French “bontet,” stemming from the Latin “bonitos,” which is akin to goodness. “Yard” comes from the Middle English “yerd,” from the Old English “geard,” which is akin to garden. Our name means: gardens, full of goodness.
Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.
— John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Address, January 20, 1961
